Cerasuola – Extra virgin olive oil – 500 ml
Extra virgin olive oil made from 100% Cerasuola olives grown in western Sicily, on south-facing slopes at an altitude of 200-500 metres. They are harvested by hand between October and November and cold pressed in a continuous process, with milling within 24 hours of harvest. In appearance, the oil has high intensity and an intense green colour. On the nose, it is fruity, with notes of green tomato and almond. The taste is full-bodied, with a bitterness and a persistent spicy aftertaste.
Ideal for raw use. Recommended on fresh salads, bruschetta, grilled fish, oven-roasted vegetables and as a finishing touch on white meat. The balanced spiciness also goes well with specialties such as new potatoes, smoked salmon or goat cheese.
